| How Long has SKY MOBILE MUSIC been serving San Diego? |
SKY MOBILE MUSIC began in 1979, and was founded by Darrell Stern, with Victor Montijo his "partner in crime" and provider of moral support. The "SKY" name was in fact Darrell's middle name (Skyler), and when Darrell was killed in an automobile accident in November 1983, Victor became the sole owner of the company, retaining the company name in Darrell's honor. |

| Can we see the DJ who will be performing our party? |
Yes, we openly invite you to one of our shows prior to making any commitment to us. You can see for yourself how well the DJ conducts himself, and carries the party! Then you can reserve that particular DJ to work at your event. Call to get more details to one of our many upcoming shows! |
| What factors affect the price of an event? |
| In general, the price of an event varies based on location, date, and number of guests. We charge a nominal travel fee for events outside the greater San Diego Area. As you might expect, weekends (Fri-Sun) are slightly higher rates than weekdays (Mon-Thurs). The entire month of December also affords slightly higher rates, with Saturdays beingthe most expensive. Finally, for large number of guests, a larger sound system is appropriate. We will save you money by providing a system no larger than you need, with price increases generally in multiples of approx 125-150 guests. |
| Why are Weddings more expensive than casual parties? |
| Weddings are considered to be much more important than a casual party, and require much more planning, organization, and experience. Our wedding packages include: a premium sound system, a consultation period, and a Senior Wedding Specialist-qualified DJ. We will assign only a seasoned professional for your big day! Whereas a wedding will have a specific DJ assigned to your event, a casual party will generally get one of our good, available DJ with less experience. |
